Recent CPD events:
At the start of September 2017, I attended my first ITIMedNet on obstetrics given by Professor Philip Steer in London. The event was excellent and I have just handed in my first translation on pre-eclampsia. Read my write-up here:
I ended September by attending my first direct client industry event: the Spanish Neonatology Society’s annual conference in Zaragoza. For further advice on attending direct client events I suggest reading Corinne McKay’s excellent blogpost. Read my write up here.
Coming up:
In October 2017, I will be back at MET, this time in Breschia, Italy. I am not presenting this year so am looking forward to a relatively obligation-free conference.
February 2018 will see me back at Elia Together2018 in Athens. The event will be slightly different for me this year as I am on the conference committee! The content for my specialisation track is being finalised as I write and I have made a final selection of what I am sure will prove to be top quality presentations.
Other training
I completed a B1.1 level German course at the Goethe Institute in Madrid in May. I am also teaching myself more about online marketing and Google AdWords campaigns.
